The Journey Begins

The fashion show task was given to us in case we were not going on a placement but some people chose to do that instead of a placement anyway.

26th April

Today we had briefing of the event and they told us what the theme and the event was going to be like.

The event will be a sustainable fashion show which will be happening on the 23rd of March, so this means we have fore weeks to organise the fashion show.

I have a placement that starts on the 6th of March so I am hoping to get a job in the fashion show which means I have a lot of influence but I don’t have to commit to much as I am leaving.

Today we also filled in an events permission form for the nursery gallery so we can have a certain amount of people attend the event and also drinks if we would like.

We then had a design meeting strait away after the briefing which we then decided a lot needed to be changed this included the name and lots of the initial designs we were given.

we spent at least two hours after the session in that room deciding and planning what we wanted to do and what idea we all had.

I had an idea that they would walk out of the back through a cut out circle and we base the whole event around a washing machine, but unfortunately after a bit of discussion the idea was liked but not loved and made to seam like it was impossible.

After the hours of deliberating we decided to go home and give it a good think and come in the next day.
